Welcome to 2344 (Longbenton) Squadron. We are part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets – a national youth organisation for young people aged 12 – 20, who enjoy aerospace, adventure and excitement.

We are one of the largest Squadrons in the North East, with the facilities to match, enabling our cadets to be involved in a plethora of activities including: flying, gliding, adventurous training, sports, leadership exercises, cyber, STEM, shooting, fieldcraft, field exercises, radio and aviation studies.

As an organisation, we are supported by our parent force, the Royal Air Force. We wear their uniform with pride and uphold their key values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence. Because of our link, we’re able to enjoy opportunities such as flying in military aircraft and visiting numerous military bases around the world!
