About the Squadron Finder
The Air Cadets Squadron Finder was launched in 2006 to help parents locate local squadrons and provide information to enable a decision on whether location, parade times and days would be workable, and then to provide a means to contact a selected squadron. Since launch, the service has delivered over 32,000 messages to Air Cadets squadrons and Wings.
This Air Cadets Squadron Finder is built from exhaustive research and from information updates kindly provided by units and their staff. The service is volunteer operated and not run by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), The Royal Air Force (RAF) or Air Cadets Organisation (ACO). The service is built, maintained and operated exclusively within the UK.
We believe this service provides the most comprehensive list of Air Cadets squadrons, their location, parade times, key personnel, website (if any) and contact details. You may also search for squadron details via the Air Cadets website 'Find your local squadron' service which provides basic details.
We take a lot of care over the data which is updated multple times per week, every week based on updates and ongoing research and checks. However, information can quickly become out-of-date and so if you believe you have found an error or know of corrections, additions or updated information, please contact us and we will be pleased to update our information (after checks).
We do check squadron websites to ensure they are working, but squadron staff and committee member change and sites and domains are not always maintained.
