Are you for challenges, making great memories and having fun? The Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC), also known as the Air Cadets can help. We are a UK and overseas wide cadet force with more than 40,000 members aged between 12 (yr 8) and 20 years old.

We're sponsored by and have close links with the Royal Air Force and can provide numerous hands-on experiences, activities, courses that will challenge and develop your skills but most importantly allow you to have a great time.

Our aims are to:

• Promote and encourage a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force among young people

• Provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life

• Encourage the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship

As a Cadet you'll have opportunities that others don't know exist. 

• Real flying experiences with you in supervised control

• Adventurous training and a wide variety of camps, sometimes overseas

• Competitive sports, drill, shooting, music, abseiling, engineering projects
